Tubing down the Itchetucknee

So today I went to the Itchetucknee with my friend Jessi and her youth group. It was alot of fun. It seemed to take forever to drive there, but it was worth it. We rented tubes and floated for about 2 hours down the river. I saw tons of fish, a snake, a mother boar and her babies, and a whole bunch of turtles. The water was pretty cold, but it was very relaxing just laying on the tube and floating down the river. After we were done with that, we went over to a spring to eat lunch and then swim. The water at the stream where we went swimming was FREEZING!! It was so cold that it was hard to breath. But the water was very clear and blue and was really pretty. I would definitely suggest taking a day and going down there with friends. It was a very enjoyable experience!

New Blog

So I decided to start a blog because I know several people who have one and I think it's a pretty neat thing to do. I cannot promise you what all I will write about since I don't personally feel that my life is very exciting, but I'm just going to go with the flow. Most of the stuff I will write about will probably be very random hence the title " Random Happenings", but I'm just asking you all to bear with me.
I've always been told that I was very good at writing. Once my 10th grade English teacher told me that I should be a journalist, but I don't feel that is the path my life is supposed to take. But maybe this blog will help me use my skills.
So first a little bit about me: My name is Sarah and I am 19 years old. I am sophomore in college and I live in Jacksonville, Fl. I work at T.B.A. noo not To Be Announced, The Blood Alliance. I have worked there for a little over 2 years and to be honest I find it rather boring. I normally just sit and sort through papers for hours on end. My normal day consists of working from around 8-1 then coming home and doing nothing. On the weekends you will most likely find me with somwhere with my boyfriend Marcus. He is awesome and we have tons of fun together. I have the best family and group of friends in the world. I love animals and want to work with them in some way. I go to the best church in the world (First Baptist) and ultimately want to live my life serving Jesus Christ.
